Millennia MONEY BACK PLUS TO MILLENNIA !

I recently upgraded to the HDFC Millennia Credit Card — here's how I did it (and how you can too):

1/
For the longest time, I was using the MoneyBack Plus credit card. Decent, but let’s be honest — the rewards are pretty limited if you spend online.

2/
After researching a bit, I realized Millennia offers better cashback on Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, and even wallets like PayZapp. It was a no-brainer upgrade for my spending habits.

3/
I tried applying through NetBanking, but it kept showing “no eligible offers.” That's when I decided to take the manual route.

4/
I wrote a short, polite email to the grievance team of HDFC Bank requesting an upgrade from MoneyBack Plus to Millennia.

5/
The email included:

  • My registered mobile number
  • Last 4 digits of my current card
  • Request for upgrade to Millennia
  • A line about being a long-time customer (optional, but adds weight)

6/
To my surprise, they responded in a few days saying the upgrade process was initiated. A week later — boom 💥 — I had my Millennia card in hand.

7/
Moral of the story:
If NetBanking doesn't help, a simple email can do wonders. Just be specific and professional.

8/
If you're in a similar boat, don’t wait for an "eligible offer" — reach out and ask. You might just get a better card with better rewards.

9/
Happy to share the email format I used. Just reply or DM. Good luck with your upgrade! 🙌

What was your limit?

Here is my story.
I too just upgraded to Millenia. I had hdfc CSC small businesses moneyback credit card which was 2.5 years old with 80k limit. Initially i tried to upgrade using NetBanking but no luck. One day decided to send email to the customer support. Sent the mail mentioning my long relationship with the bank and bla bla. Got reply that inoder to upgrade to millennia, my credit limit needs to be increased to one lakh so they asked to send the income docs duly signed and also upgrade form duly signed along withe the copy of pancard. I sent the requested documents via email. Limit was increased to one lakh first And after few days they asked for the consent to which i responded in the manner the requested. After few days when logged in mycards app, it showed that one new card is ready to be added. And boom 💥 successfully upgraded to millennia without much hassle. And all this was done without any cibil, experian hit.

P.S- I am self employed and have a zero balance current account with hdfc and moneyback card was ltf, millennia is fyf.

My journey from ltf mb+ to ltf millenia
I had got pre-approved mb+ cc with 80k limit.
Only used when spend based offer came like 1000 rs 5000 rs 250 rs Voucher. So average use was 5-6k per month.
Probably two big spend was done 17k and 29k.
I also had swiggy card that is not much used too.
Got limit increase in to 92k in march
got ltf millenia upgrade in april
