Like I said in the last line, Base 1x spend will be 35 ER. remaining 2x (if 3x on gyftr) will be 12*2.
Here bonus is 24 ER.
a 3x voucher of 200 will get you 35 + 24 = 59 ER.

Also it's all prediction, no one knows how it works until we get it. So let's wait for December!
Things are not simple as they looks around..

35 points are after we spend 1.5 lacs..which most of people, now spending 1 lacs will struggle to spend...

Also we must take care of 10 lacs per annum before reported by banks to income tax department..

So not that easy unless & until one really is an HNI😀

I think Accor is not a great deal, mostly for international travel hotels don't matter much, you can get much better value properties than Accor on Airbnb, as most Ibis properties in International locations do not accept Accor points, better to transfer a majority of points to flights like Singapore Airlines.
My usage is only domestic hotels/flights. Looks like Accor points are accepted everywhere in India. Your view?

Yes Accor points are accepted everywhere in India, but
For domestic usage, If I had to convert to Hotel I would prefer ITC to Accor for four reasons,
1. ITC has far more properties
2. Quality of ITC hotels is far better
3. ITC has many holiday destinations in its portfolio for domestic usage
4. You can convert to Marriott, which again is better than Accor
ITC properties give you a value of around Rs 1.2 to 1.5 per point as booking by points is at a discount to the market rate.

Hmm I'm confused I remember seeing Ibis accepting points, did you check recently wondering if they changed their points eligible hotels.
2ndly I think they have quite a few nice hotel chains in their portfolio, I'd rather use points for those properties over these mid/low range Ibis hotels.

they have not changed their points-eligible hotels according to my knowledge, but they could do it in the future.
Yes, they have some nice properties for international travel, but it does not make a lot of sense to me. I did a one-week Singapore trip last year, ibis properties there did not accept points, I had to book a Novotel or Mercure, so it forces you to spend more than you want to. Now in Singapore, I do not care much about how good the hotel is as far as it's clean and comfy since anyways I will be there only at night to sleep. I would rather use my points on Singapore Airlines.

Did a quick search for Singapore. Ibis and ibis styles allow you to use points. However, all ibis budget hotels do not accept points.

Hello everyone,
What is time frame in which axis is currently crediting RPs (5x complete) for Traveledge bookings ? I want to make bookings for December. I read earlier in this thread that is actually somedays after travel date. But again… people are getting their points earlier as well. Thanks

I have read here in the forums that it is either x days after booking or x days after travel whichever is earlier. In your case you will get the points before Sep 1st devaluation if you book today I guess.

Why what happens after that? I have international travel in September. Also, I have applied for their meet and greet service.
For international lounges, you will still be able to use priority pass. It’s only for domestic lounge access, they have given the list of acceptable lounges across India that will be effective 1st September..

I checked major European cities and found that Hotel F1, Greet, and IBIS budget hotels do not accept accor points (at least through the app/website). Other low cost hotels like Adagio and IBIS styles accept reward points while booking.
I recently booked hotels in Europe using points in ibis(Germany), Pullman(Brussels), Novotel(Luxembourg) and Mercure(Amsterdam). Except Mercure, I was able to use points for paying taxes as well.

This axis ER redemption is confusing. Particularly this devaluation has made a mess.

Perhaps both. I found out that Accor has good hotels in Europe. So planned to transfer around 60K ER to Accor All. But now after reading this I feel like I should redeem ER to Airmiles. So I searched a bit and found out Turkish has good amount of flights to europe but Taxes are around 22.5K for Economy return flight. Whereas United has very low taxes but flight availability is issue.
All in all I thing I'd rather redeem the ER to Amazon or flipkart coupon.

Perhaps you are seeing it wrongly. I booked return Economy tickets(Air India tickets) for Europe(BLR to Frankfrut, Amsterdam to BLR) and total tax was around 8k.
