Axis Magnus Magnus Burgundy points going to Edge pool

All the points earned by my Magnus Burgundy are going into the ordinary Edge pool since 29 Feb.
Hence my MB points are stuck at 100
So I cannot convert any points.

Customer care said software will be updated by 31 March 2024

Yes, Axis is overhauling their points system.. Not sure what's gonna come out of it for this community. But they've been extending deadlines. It was supposed to be completed by Feb until last month. Now it's March..

Does this mean now each credit card's redemption rate will also be applied to points earnt by cards individually.

yeah, Indian market/customers follows discounts/rewards. Now that customer acquisition has been done by axis, they are looking at their top line.
i'm hoping for a small bank to follow axis's initial strategy, will be there for benefits/rewards.

That should be the aim and that should be the case to start with…

They credit Magnus accelerated reward points as normal edge points currently. If they are segregating the redemption pool now, they need to fix this and credit these to the Burgundy pool.

Magnus Burgundy can be redeemed at 5:4 ratio at preferred partner for airmiles/ hotel points

If you have the Magnus Burgundy card in your portfolio, ordinary edge points earned on other Axis cards in your portfolio will also get redeemed at 5:4 ratio, if they were earned before the Magnus Burgundy points (minimum 300 Magnus Burgundy points).

Points redemption is based on First earned, First redeemed.
