Lounge access procedure

Hi

I am going for an international trip and plan on using lounges at Dubai and Doha airports and possibly few others in Europe.

I have an HDFC DCB card, Dreamfolks cards from IDFC Wealth credit card and ICICI Sapphiro.

I was wondering what the procedure is to use these benefits. Do I need to apply on their website or inform these card providers via email before I use them for International lounge?

In case of HDFC DCB, can I simply use the credit card directly?

You go infront of lounge where the cards are accepted

Hand over your card for front desk person to swipe and then you enter after transaction is verified

@Slayer Off topic question. I have an hdfc dcb, but I am not being added to the vip lounge despite requesting it. Are there are any hidden factors considered for this inclusion?
