Looking for 1.5T AC recommendations

Take out both the filters. Remove the dust using old toothbrush and then under running tap water. This is done at least once a month.

Bought water jet pump from amazon, use it for cleaning at the end of each season.
that's nice. That's about indoor unit. How about outdoor unit?

ok bro. thank you. I have also heard someone in my office has lloyd AC, never got it serviced and nor problems since 5 years
All AC ideally should be like that. The biggest mess up happens during installation. Several technicians don't vacuum the system after installation, which is super important. Check all pipe joints with bubble test.

ohh okay bro. I think, this is very important. I will keep an eye on this one! Thanks

Using marq for more than 5 years. Very effective. Inverter AC 5 star. Maintain it myself by washing exterior unit once a month atleast in season. And interior air filters 2 to 3 times in season.

If someone lives in ggn, they can visit sector 29 for ACs. There are three side by side retailers there, croma, reliance and vijay sales. They are very competitive and you can use an offer to bargain with another.

Got 5 star, lloyd 1.5 ton ac at 36k. https://amzn.in/d/7CTyLky
i think we ca get lowest by authorized dealer. I was getting LG wifi 1.5ton 5 star at 43500 from Electronics paradise. I called nearest LG showroom and told them the same, they called me and quoted 42800 for the same. The same LG showroom quoted 46500 in May when I went there on my own.

How to clean outdoor unit. I am thinking of taking care of my AC by self. Also, there are now ACs with inside self cleaning like LG, Hitachi, Daikin, etc. I can get one of them and care for them by my own. The service people usually make the unit worse by breaking some parts.

Also, how big is your room and is it top floor? Your Marq AC is 1 or 1.5 ton?

Ok.. For outdoor unit cleaning, just wash it with water. I simply spray water with pipe particularly at areas where I see dust and areas from where air flows. Remember that lots of buildings still keep outdoor unit without any shelter. In rain they get washed. So it's perfectly fine to wash it. It's designed like that.

1 more thing. Clean function you referred is in most ACs and is different from dust cleaning and regular maintenance. It is primarily used in rainy season when somehow some water is stuck and was not able to get out via pipe and AC starts giving foul smell. That's when it comes handy.

no, i am talking about another technology known has him clean, dew clean, ice clean wherein the AC freezes the coil of IDU, then let it thaw and dries it out. it is more like servicing of indoor unit automatically

I am planning to get Midea AC. Seconds option is blue star Q series super efficient AC which is not available online, but only through special request and exclusive dealer

Still would need to remove dust from air filters manually

At my primary home, it's only Samsung AC in all rooms, bedrooms having 1.5 ton 5 star inverter AC & hall room have 2 ton 5 star inverter AC. It's been couple of years & no issue faced.

At my other homes, it's mix of Samsung & Blue Star. Servicing of Samsung is good in my city, can't say same about Blue star.
