Kotak Declined application due to Partial KYC Rejection. Any solution here?

Hey Folks, I had applied for Kotak League recently with CRN of 811 account with was closed automatically last year due to half KYC or no KYC.

And the application is rejected due to Partial KYC Rejection. Any solution here? Any higher authority mail to contact? Would they consider this application again? What will be the solution for KYC? If no, how much time I've to wait?

Update from Kotak : As per revert received fromrelevant team, request you to please visit nearest branch and update full KYCdetail under your CRN.

Post updating the document youmay write us back in order to check and assist you for application restart onapproval basis.

Now the question is can KYC be updated for the CRN without opening an account?

lately it has become common practice for uenthical nexus between KYC people & Bank people to force an application status to partial kyc so that Bank employees can re-process the existing customer application under their eomployeeID in order to hit sales targets & bonus of course.

On that pretext, a visit to branch is requested to provide documents so bank employee can override the non bank employee initiated customer's application & merge into a employee initiated/assisted application.

A very dirty trick as it wastes a lot of time; so would advise avoiding such banks.

Now ur CRN issue could be Kotaks software issue as the system is merging your new profile automatically into old profile.

My guess would be to do re-KYC & reopen & then close the account by which the existing CRN would be deleted.

reapply CC again & this time hopefully there will be no existing CRN matching ur profile.

Its not practical but again my 2 cents.

No agent was involved in CC application or no CC department in my branch.

So I could have directly applied via him using KYC details but above statement says all

Then I had to open an account & complete KYC for CRN.

Then Kotak reprocessed application over email & card got approved.

Yes, agent who opened account must have got filled his target but it's okay.

My guess is based on matching Adhhar + pan combination ;the kotak system assigns a CRN to customer for life.
 
@D₹V Sir Mera kotak 811 account dormant hai bahot saal se and I was thinking to apply for kotak cc.. So do i need reactivate my 811 account and apply for cc or do i need open everyday account offline and then apply for cc?
I just dont want another bank account for just CC

I don't have any Banking relationship with Kotak Bank. First applied for Credit Card, application got declined due to missing DOB.
Suggested to visit Branch to update DOB.

In Branch, i got to know - already my CRN is in Kotak database with wrong information created in 2021.
Never opened account or any banking services - i was going through the TF chats and got to know Fastag could be culprit here. I've purchased kotak fastag near toll booth in 2021 so might be he updated only my first name, mother name as mother and dob randomly. Created CRN.

Now what's the way to update CRN - branch suggesting only option to delete CRN but manager is also not aware for CRN deletion or updatation without Kotak Account. Customer Support team is also not having solution.

Guys, please help me here whats the way to update my CRN even i don't have any account in Kotak. is the solution CRN deletion? Fedup with this CRN issue - never faced earlier with other banks.

They wont delete CRN. I Tried and it is waste of time. Only solution is open bank account with them
 
Kotak is reviving the 811 accounts? I tried opening my New Kotak 811 account which is dormat for now but it was processed I mean they accepted everything and was ready to activate my account again if I complete the Vkyc again.

But the issue is they made my area unserviceable for no reason. Before it was counted as serviceable area and Assistant Manager used to visit our home for kyc of 811 Account.

Only account opening is the solution.

Try opening 811 account if you succeed.

Else Savings Everyday is an option.

Or there is one more option of 0 mab offline account which I'll tell you later.

Once CRN generated by any mean, all things needs to processed ofline manually.

You can open account again. They started to allow opening again for people who missed their KYC. Once opened you can wait for preapproved offer. My friend got preapproved card offer in one month. Make sure you tick credit bureau access while opening account. It will get you loan and cc offers.

As per my assumption your Kotak CC has been declined due to KYC issue in Kotak Savings Account
If possible, get full KYC done for your Kotak 811 account. If the bank refuses to do full KYC, then open a new account.
After this, apply for Kotak CC
