( now fixed ) KOTAK bbps payment as Cash deposit.

Paid 50k+ bill pay of kotak cc on sbi unipay .
It is settled as cash deposit

And was charged 118 2 time for 2 transaction.


If you go more than 1 lakh payment via cash it get highlighted to AiS in income tax ..

Update:- customer care said their internal system knows about it .
They will correct for all customer & it happened to all customer who paid through any 3rd party .
Was told should be reversed in 3-4 days .
Let's see
AIS reporting system is automated right?

What if they report 1L as cash payment in your AIS?

Bank send report I guess per quarter.
I made 55 k ..
Not 1 or above
If they even report I have the receipt of online payment..
But they won't they know the risk and the consequences out of it

Yesterday I paid Rs100 through HDFC bill pay to Kotak Myntra Card, but was surprised to check some 118 charges have been added to the unbilled statement as cash deposit fee. Lodged an issue with the customer care in the morning through email.

Now I'm okay after seeing in the forum that they have some issue in their systems and it was just not me with whom this happened. 😅

Now I'm okay after seeing in the forum that they have some issue in their systems and it was just not me with whom this happened. 😅

We acknowledge your concern and wish to assure that the cash deposit fees will be auto reversed within next 48 hours and you can view the same via Net/Mobile Banking application. This was due to an internal technical glitch. Please allow us a maximum of 48 hours to resolve this permanently for you. ^Team Kotak 1000006952.png

what email id you mailed to?...i dont have kotak cc email...i'll also shoot an email so that it's on record.
