Are existing 811 account holders still receiving upgrade option/notification to super account? Bank says unless I get notification for upgrade, there's nothing can be done🤦

Yes.. i am 811 customer from 5-6 years, but earlier i was not be eligible to upgrade to 811 super. (Link for upgrade didn't allow me to upgrade, customer support also rejected)
Few days back- i downloaded kotak app (newer version app) (ios) and in that i could see the Direct option to upgrade my account to 811 super a/c. I successfully upgraded by adding 5k via upi as guided by kotak app
So you can do try if not yet tried this.

How much time will it take to receive the account details of Kotak 811 after video KYC ?
Should be in couple of hours. Maximum 24 hours of successful kyc.

Yes credited 5000 rs during account opening for super account. Also credited once more 6000 during the same month. When i contacted customer care (via chat) they were saying you will get by the end of month. Is there any hope that they will give in the remaining days?
You will get logo of upgrade to super account very soon. Click on that and deposit 5000 rs. to avail the 5% cashback. Also, I recommend upgrading next month as there are very few days left in this month. Pro-Tip - Ignore all calls from kotak as they will sell you insurance mostly. Also try to not navigate into sections of mutual funds, insurance in kotak 811 apps otherwise they will disturb you frequent calls.
Kotak 811 Dream different credit card review :
I used this card now for 2 months almost. First thing they say that you will get 4 reward points for UPI txns of 100 Rs. but they only give 2 reward points per 100 UPI spends. Credit limit is 90% of FD value. For swipe and pay the card is mostly junk ( I did one lakme salon txn of 800Rs got no reward points). They give 250 rs amazon voucher + 3 months OTTPlay for spending 1k via card ( Welcome benefit). Also there is mile stone benefit of 1000Rs Apay voucher ( If you spend 72k in a year) or 25 rs vocuher if you spend 36k in a year.
Overall reward rate : (LTF Card) 72k Spends ( 1st yr)
- Mile stone benefit = 1000 Rs
- Apay welcome Voucher = 250 Rs
- 2 Reward point per 100 = 360 Rs. ( 1400 reward points * 0.25rs)
- I use super money app ( gives me around 0.6% cashback) = 432 Rs
==Net rewards = Rs. 2042 ( 2.836% Reward Rate) Which looks good to me.
==Net rewards 2nds yr onwards = 1792 Rs. ( 2.48% Rewards without welcome voucher of 250rs )
* I use my Millenia HDFC DC to pay the bill via APay wallet so another 1% Cashback their.
* Also, If you have Axis liberty account and spends 10k a month for 5% weekend cashback then you may pay bills of this credit card via cred and get 750 Rs quarterly voucher ( 2.5% Rewards)
* HDFC Smart bill pay not available with Kotak CC so no 5% cashback on bill payment for first 12 months with this card.

Yup so you aren't eligible for cashback of May
Dont count 5000 credit of account opening funding, I'm pretty sure that is not counted.
The next credit transaction you made was of 6000, however you had to make it exactly of 5000 so this one also isn't eligible
From next month, make exact 5000 credit transactions
Also don't believe in what customer care says, they are clueless half of the time

Damn this bank. So many tnc, They misled me to think that any credit above 5k was eligible. Truly its lotak bank even worse than axishit.

Oh that's great...I checked in new kotak app I couldn't find it... would you mind telling where exactly u have seen the upgrade option in kotak app
