Kiwi Neon membership free renewal?

I was checking the app today and to my surprise kiwi gave me free neon membership for 1 year with the current one ending in 21 days. This is not free for all my be for those who spent considerable amount in the past year, in my case i spent around 2.6L last year.

I checked with couple of my friends one who got the card recently and one more who is due for renewal but haven't used much and for both of them the app asks to pay for the membership and renewal respectively.

Even though I got the below, whenever i go to the membership page it asks me to renew again and doing so, I get the same message that I got free 1 year subscription every time. I guess the app is not adding the renewal to the queue and hope the new membership will come into effect once the current one expires.

I too had about 2L spends but it didn't offer me free neon membership and I had to renew on August by paying the fee.

Maybe they started new, trying reaching to customer care and see if they can reverse it

But the bonus kiwis are extremely rare now . Hardly got 5 kiwis in the entire August month. Earlier once I got a whopping 33%.

May be that pani puri was worth only 9 rupees instead of 40 so they refunded the extra money.

Not just once, many times I got some considerable amount as kiwis at groceries, medicals too.
