Kedarnath 2025 trek - help needed

Hi All,

Has anyone already been to Kedarnath trek in the current year/season. wanted some suggestions/input regarding planning a solo trip.

Can you please help with the procedure and experience of registration and token allotment.
Online Registration slots are full for next 30 days.... Can we get same day registration if we do offline registration at Haridwar, Rishikesh or SonPrayag?
Are there long queue/rush for the registrations or it's chill.

Any suggestions for homestay/hostel, etc...or resting points (any specific point) ?
Any input for Stay at Kedarnath near the temple.

Will start the journey from Delhi or Haridwar (can do Rishikesh as well).

Rush wise Haridwar>Rishikesh>so on

Few things are different if you are going by your own or by shared transport.

Few itinerary depends on the time available to you and the starting point of the journey.

Srinagar is a good place in between Delhi to Badrinath ji or Kedarnath ji people use to stay there.

Across the way, no such issues, all facilities available, Not BIG, but road side eateries, accomodation.

Have a look on certain YouTube videos, you will get a fair idea, still if you need any help just ask.

@hender : Yes bro..... i finally returned yesterday..... The crowd was huge and so energetic..... And the good thing was that the ager group was very evenly mixed....people of all ages including youngsters and 25-35 were there in goooood numbers.... (I covered the trek by walking, so telling about that)

Initially I was planning on my own, but then wasn't sure of many things including how/when to do registrations offline (online was fully booked)....where to stay (i wanted to stay near the temple, but MMT reviews said that tent/homestay claimed its near to temple, but was 1-1.5 km far)....... So, finally booked through an operator, who carries group exclusive for kedarnath and badrinath. I took Kedarnath one.
Manchala Musafir si the name of operator, they are decent (not great, but okayish/manageable).... you need to be mentally prepared that you wont be getting the luxuries (or even basic amenities) at the homestays/tents near Kedarnath temple area. temperature dropped upto -2 during the night 😛

Thaks a lot @hender bro.... Yes, these constraints are there, but in the end, it was all worth it (including the muscle pains for last 2+ days, sleepless nights, all the hassles)..... like i said i joined a group - we halted overnight in Guptkashi andd then in Kedarnath area, and again in Guptkashi while returning.

It is a different experience altogether....cant be explained in words! 🙏🙏

Also, people who look for luxury experiences or get fascinated "purely" by insta stories, should not go there 🙂 Eg- If someone is saying "itni door chalke bass yehi dekhne aaye the"...then they need to rething their priorities/choices in life 🙈

I haven't approached them for Kedarnath but booked a package for Srilanka this month.
