Karma Group Membership review needed please

Hi all, has anyone been a member of or does anyone know about Karma membership? - https://karmagroup.com/membership/

It's a timeshare program. They are offering 1 week stay in any of their properties (4 members) + 165 points per year for 3 years in exchange for about 1.3L INR. Although redemption varies based on various factors, you can assume that 165 points per year will give around a week's worth of stay for 4 family members.

Is it worth it? Are there any other memberships that are better or cheaper?

I don't know much about other memberships, but I've heard a lot of Club Mahindra Membership. You may want to check that out.

i might be wrong but such memberships always trigger red flags for me.. investing ur time and points to accor or marriot might be a safer bet.. Accor plus/Accor Signature also a great option

Don't pay 1.35 L upfront for 3 years, later you never get your choice of hotels when plan, they will tell those are already booked even before 5-6 months. Better divide those to 45k per year and happily stay in any 5 star resort for around 9k-10k per night. You will be more than happy.

OMG.. Karma agents are everywhere in Goa especially near Baga and Anjuna beaches... They are not in busy places, but somewhat lonely roads targeting familes.. They come to us saying some anniversary offer with scratch cards. First they give 'better luck next time' card and then they tactically gives one more scratch card to wife/kids which when oopened shows 1 pakka gift among tab, phone, watch, luxury trip... so to redeem that card and scratch the offer, you have to visit karma hotel and give a mandate on application that you spend 1hr with them to listen to them..

If you fall for the scratch card gift, then ur time is doomed for almost 2 to 3 hrs with the non-stop talking by agents explaining about karma membership.

Not sure how far its useful to others, but i felt its useless to me for the below cited cost..

15 lacs one time payment for membership valid for 25 years
Yearly AMC of 25000

And then they said anniversary offer reduced to around 7 lacs with no change in AMC... valid only for that instance and forcing to pay 20% down payment..

7nights per year free of stay and no f&b included in the membership and even no breakfast included..

Finally what did I get after scratching, as expected luxury trip... Look at point.2 🤡

They hv gud resorts. N u ll get booking too. Bt dere resorts r usually far frm main attraction of that tourist place. They usually giv offers to non members on fb. U cn book frm dere N den decide
