I don't have a problem to pay tax and Chartered accountant saying income tax portal not asked to pay tax like that I think itr will reject?

Income upto 2.5L is not taxable (old regime) and 3L (new regime and from AY26-27 it will be 4L in new regime).

But Crypto income even if it is Rs.1 there is 30% Tax + 4% cess on that tax.

Income Tax won't call you to pay tax. In future they will check it and I know people who received tax demand notice after 10 years for meagre Rs.250 tax demand and with interest it increased to Rs.2960 also.

Choice is yours.

Yesterday my brother's ITR-1 (New Regime) with a few thousands refund was processed within a few hours.

Today my own ITR-2 (New Regime) with no refund was processed within two hours!

I have been waiting for 2 ITR1 to be processed, both with refund, filled on 20 th August. What's the reason for delay?

ITR2 filed on 12 Aug with refund due. Not processed yet.

My wife filed ITR2 by end of Aug with 0 refund. She paid remaining tax and filed. Processed with refund of 180 INR and got credited also within a week.
