is it possible to convert SBI secured credit card to unsecured after more than 2 years (or) should we close and open new unsecured cc

my dad has a 2 year old sbi credit card againt FD. is it possible to convert it directly into unsecured or should i close it and open new unsecured credit card? any one have any experience with this ?

I dont think so that can happen in SBI but more experienced people here can help you with it

No! Sbi doesn't make secured CC into unsecured cc🥲

You can take another unsecured sbi credit card by applying separately even while having the secured sbi credit card.
