Hello experienced TFians,

Today, I came across what seemed like a loot deal on Amazon:

2021 Apple 10.2-inch iPad (9th Gen, Wi-Fi, 256GB, Silver) was listed for just ₹18,999. I tried to grab it immediately, but it went out of stock. After refreshing the app repeatedly for about 30 minutes, it came back in stock — and I finally managed to place the order.

However, when I checked my order details, I realized that instead of the 256GB Wi-Fi variant, I had actually purchased the 64GB Wi-Fi + Cellular variant.

I'm completely new to Apple and iOS. My original plan was to buy a tablet under ₹15,000, so spending ₹18,999 is already a stretch for me.

So, my question is:
Is it worth keeping the 64GB iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) at this price (~₹19,000)?
I have no idea if this is a good deal or not.

Thanks for the confirmation. Yesterday I purchased a Realme Buds AIR 7 at 800rs (Price 2799). It was shipped but cancelled by Flipkart. Then they mentioned mistake is price entry. I hope I will get lucky this time.

During open box delivery do check if there is original apple seal (with green arrow) present or not (on both side). Saw several videos on YouTube where there was seal only on one side and on other side there is silver colour seal. Apple don't use any silver colour seal.

In this fear I always prefer croma to buy apple products.

is 2021 version worth for you in 2025 decide based on your usage
Never used ipad before. I was searching for a 15k Range tab (Selected OnePlus Pad Go) but after seeing this deal I stretched by budget and got it (18-19k). My only logic was Apple will provide better tab than oneplus. Haven't checked any spec. Btw my main use case is Taking notes, and reading pdf, and watching online class. Am I making a mistake? what do you think?

I have it
Don't keep atleast 10 gen

It's performance not as good as before

I am using apple ipad 9 gen from last three years.

If you are not opening large pdf , or not multitasking, or use case is less to moderate, then it is great choice and deal. But if your use case is heavy then you shouldn't take it.

Two major cons are
1. Data transfer from android or laptop is very Hard and time consuming
2. 64 gb storage is too less nowadays where only 40 gb is available to use.

As a final yr MBBS student, this ipad is stretching to me , I may upgrade in very near future.

If you need any help u can DM me , or continue here..

Taking Notes. (Using Stylus)
And using productivity apps like (Notion, Onenote, Google Calander, etc)
