Invalid CVV transaction successful

I did a transaction in BB using my IndusInd DC accidentally entered my CC CVV but still transaction is successful. Has anyone experienced this before and is it exclusive to BB.

Only Zomato has mentioned that they don't need cvv for tokenized card but if other Ecom platforms mention this then scams will increase like scammers using hacked Flipkart account for shopping with wrong cvv.

Cred doesnt need CVV as I use Cred for Mobile recharge on selecting card and clicking pay it automatically goes to OTP page for Cred

It is when you've tokenised your card on that specific website. Delete the card details from there and try again, payment won't go through.

Even with my Kotak bank debit card transaction went sucessful without correct CVV but it asked for otp tho.
