Insurance premium using Amazon pay balance

Insurance premium using credit card on Amazon has convenience fee.

But can anyone confirm if we load Amazon pay balance to required premium amount, would it still charge any convience fee?

I can get Apay balance using amex cards + smartbuy.

Want to be sure before committing to load large sum.

Amazon has brought a new restriction where we can only pay using Amazon for insurance if it is less than 50k. I saw a screenshot of this posted in some thread and i had to pay 59k, so i paid 20k using payment link from tataaia and the rest i was able to pay via Amazon pay balance

If anyone know any 3rd party apps which accepts lic payment via amazon pay do enlight 😅 Spoke to customer care team seems like many users are facing this issue, better to raise multiple complaints. As per current policy only 1lkh can be paid in a month via amazon pay balance for insurance but seems like some technical issue which might take sometime for fix.

For me, it’s not even fetching the LIC bill. It’s much lower than 1L. Is there a way to fix it?

Is the issue only if we pay on amazon (For me I checked and it shows i have reached maximum amount limit and can not pay)?

My insurer provides me amazon pay wallet as option. Will that option allow me to pay higher premium 35k and 25k separately? I need to decide if buying gift card is worth it or not. Please help if anyone is aware

Seems like you are unaware about recent changes. You can't pay that amount anymore, atleast not at this moment.

I am trying to make payment, and getting error, that error has nothing to do with icici but amazon pay. I am trying to add policy with numbers, it won't let me do it, and then even with //// and same error. Even without /// same error. I click view sample and it just says refer to bill but bill has nothing. Ugh!!

So this payment isn't for renewal or fresh policy, it is a payment to add wife, basically I am endorsing here in my policy as additional member so icici sent me a link to make the payment. Problem is in that link they are asking 0.7%+gst for card payments and 1.7%+gst for amazon wallet as convenience fees.

So I was thinking if I can make the payment directly thru amazon to avoid conv fee. I understand direct link payment might not be valid on bbps but this error seems like a syntax error rather than bbps/icici error.
