Insurance premium using Amazon pay balance

Insurance premium using credit card on Amazon has convenience fee.

But can anyone confirm if we load Amazon pay balance to required premium amount, would it still charge any convience fee?

I can get Apay balance using amex cards + smartbuy.

Want to be sure before committing to load large sum.

1. HDFC Life does have amazon pay option and someone in this forum said it's hidden someone under some option. If you give me payment link may be I can check..

2. No conv fee if paid directly at payzapp. You can use any card u like afaik.

YES HDFC LIFE HAVE AMAZON PAY AS PAYMENT OPTION. I DID THE PAYMENT LAST YEAR VIA AMAZON PAY ONLY. HOPEFULLY STILL WE HAVE THAT OPTION.

Yes, the balance is more that the premium amount. Interestingly, a few day back when the balance was less, I just checked the payment options available and i could see amazon pay option with a message that the balance is less than the insurance amount. But, now that has disappeared.

HDFC life doesn't have amazon pay as a payment option and yes, as @GG21 mentioned, tata neu does not support amazon pay as a payment method and neither do airtel app.

Guess, will have to take the hit of convenience fee and pay through amex plat travel directly to hit the milestone

Another option which you can try is payment via policybazaar site via amazon pay. I havent tried it but few said it works.

Just paid the premium using amazon pay balance on HDFC life website. Not sure why but amazon pay option is not getting reflected on HDFC life app under wallet section. Thank you for the support @GG21 @Sobirvs and @donniedarko

I'm looking to pay renewal for my Star Health around 26k using Amazon Pay balance and I am getting this:
"Amazon Pay Balance is not eligible as you have exceeded the maximum amount limit allowed for your Balance on this transaction. Please continue to pay using other methods."

I escalated to Amazon support and they asked me do full KYC, which I did and still got the same error. Tried contacting them again and the relevant team informed me that there is some issue going for all customer while using this feature.

I did this transaction on 28th May for SBI Life Insurance. There are no convenience charges. I have done this transaction from amazon pay directly.
