Inquiry for the ecs payment.

My sip date is 15th and to be debited through the ecs methods but can I deposit the money using debit or credit card before that date and also please guide if the amount has been credited to the mutual fund house, then again, the amount will be debited from my savings bank account or not on the same date as ecs is scheduled. Suggestions will be appreciated please.

You can remove any ecs mandate and standing merchant instructions from banks website.. also if you pay it from cc or dc(i.e manually) it will still be deducted on 15 from your bank account because you already have a standing intruction for that merchant.

Yeah, for SBI you can login into netbanking and under Bill Payment tab >> Manage Billers..

If you cannot find your SIP vendor there, you would have to goto -- SIHub website by SBI -- https://www.sihub.in/managesi/sbi#/home/login
there create your account >> enter card details >> then login and you should be able to see SIP vendor there.
