Indusind Select Account Minimum Balance Shortfall Notification

Hi everyone,

I wanted to bring up something odd that happened recently and get the community’s thoughts or similar experiences.
I hold an IndusInd Select Savings Account, and as many of you might know, the Schedule of Benefits document (dated 30-Dec-2022) clearly mentions that:

“Minimum balance requirement will be waived off for customers holding an IndusInd Legend Credit Card.”

Now, I do hold an active IndusInd Legend Credit Card, so naturally, I’ve never worried about maintaining the minimum balance in my Select account.
However, on Friday, 30th May, I received an SMS from IndusInd Bank stating a minimum balance shortfall, which came as a surprise.

What I’ve Done:​


I’ve already drafted and sent an email to their Select customer care (exclusive@indusind.com) asking for clarification and resolution within 3 working days. I’ll share their response here once I get it.




🔄 Has anyone else faced this recently?​


  • Have the waiver terms changed for the Select account + Legend combo?
  • Is this just a system glitch or a generic SMS being sent out?
  • Would love to hear if anyone has had the same issue and how it was resolved.
