IndusInd Credit Card Application Issue - Mobile Number Mismatch

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to apply for an IndusInd credit card, specifically the Platinum Rupay card for UPI payments. whenever I submit the application, I get an error message stating a mismatch between my mobile number and their internal records.

Has anyone else faced this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

Is there another way to apply for the IndusInd credit card, besides the online application form? Screenshot_20240815-200839.png
 
In my case this error has occurred because they have somehow linked my another Paytm number in their records. Now they want me to apply using that old number but now my Aadhar is linked to a different number. So, IMO applying online seems impossible. I have also reached out to one of agents on this community and he asked for the old number as well.

I am having the exact same issue! What did you do at last?
 
I sent mail, got useless reply after a month, and then again I gave some slokas, but no updates yet.

Here is what I reponded
very very xxxx usless response
you guys didnt even understood my problem
just copy pasted some xyz response
with so much confidence that application is under process
without even seeing that its in process for more than 6 months.

No Solution yet. Has anyone attempted to fill manual form visiting branch
After months of struggle, last month I got the solution. Mobile Number updation is only possible offline.

First mail to headcredit@indusind.com
Ask them about your old relationship with the Bank CIF ID. They will take time, and they will reply to you with the CIF ID. ( You can skip this step and visit the nearest branch directly and ask them about mobile number updation )
Then visit any nearest branch and provide them your CIF ID and ask them to update your mobile number ( give them your main number which you want in your credit card )
After completion of the process at the branch, your mobile number gets updated in 1 day.
You will also receive the SMS Confirmation of mobile number updation.

Now you are happy to proceed further with the Credit Card Application
