I will wait for official clarity. They just need to add 'A customer can fund and upgrade only once' in the FAQ.

If they do not devalue the gems value then it's worth maintaing the megastar quarterly balance requirement now for the sole purpose of earning bill payment rewards. 1000 for 50k balance is north of 20% p.a return!

I have a confusion. Say I have 10 cc bills to pay, and I am megastar. So I'll get 100*10=1000 gems. Next month if I pay again for those 10 cards will I get 1000 gems again, or I will need 10 fresh cards?

After earning 25 x 6 = 150 gems previously this month, I've done a Rs. 600 transaction again for one of the same billers. Let's see if I get 0 (repeat biller) or 25 (old logic) or 30 (5% of 600) or 100 (flat 100 per txn) gems.
