I would beg to differ. I know his avg is only 25. He has had the starts. Even Sudarshan had a bad series now. But back them both just as Iyer, and they both would do as good as iyer. It's like who edges out the other on form. That's the only thing.

if you remove his 300 and 50(in this match), then he has scored merely 150 runs in 12-13 innings which includes a full series in india and one in England

He is just minnow ranji basher...
Even in IPL, except one innings he was very vevy average given his tweet to whole world that "CRICKET... PLZ GIVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE"
Chance given and was let go in such a series which is full of runs

I agree. Besides Shreyash's aggression would have put pressure on the bowlers for sure
