I have an IDFC First Bank Millennia Credit Card with a limit of ₹45,000 and want to upgrade it to a Wealth Card or Select Card. I also have a savings account with IDFC First Bank with a minimum balance of ₹25,000. Despite talking to customer care and branch representatives, they are not upgrading my card. I even offered to change my savings account to a Select Account, but they still refused. They told me that I can't have two lifetime cards, and instead offered me the Ashva and Mayura cards, which have charges. I've tried emailing them multiple times with required documents, but my card limit hasn't been increased, and my card hasn't been upgraded. My queries are-
1. Will emailing the PNO help?
2. Why isn't the bank offering to upgrade my card even if I upgrade my savings account? Should I change my home branch?
3. If I close my Millennia Card and apply for a new card through the app, can I get a Select Card or Wealth Card? A year ago, someone from Techno Fino used this trick; will it still work? If it works, should I apply for a Wealth Card directly or go for a Select Card first and then upgrade to a Wealth Card?
