For example if someone has sapphiro credit card and no bank account in icici ....as it is premium card so it will most probably show black UI ..so someone with this scenario tries to open a account will a wealth account be opened or normal?

Sapphiro card won’t change the theme to black , only wealth account does
You cannot open Wealth account with Sapphiro as surrogate neither with Emeralde

Sometime ICICI mobile banking app theme changes to black for mine account too .

I am not yet black... Its currently privlge account... Marron colour

My friend has Privilege with Sapphiro (dual variant) and is still Maroon.

I too have Maroon (Privilege with mmt card)

I think the credit limit plays a role here. I have no acc with ICICI, but have a Coral with 10L limit. App and Netbanking portal showing as Wealth in Black color

yes, credit limit changes the theme color & tags for non account holders of ICICI. For <3lac normal, >3 lac is privilege in maroon color, >7or8 lac is wealth in black as i remember, please correct me if wrong. thank you.
But it is of no use for non account holders though!
