ICICI Bank RM, Sakshi Gupta, swindles 4.6 Cr of customers funds .....

So icici employees can break our FDs whenever they want. It is logged in the backend.
What I am surprised by is how was she able to change phone number without any intervention from customers. If that is the case, none of my bank accounts are safe.

Exactly to the point. Phone number change application can be signed by themselves. The procedure for changing the phone number is through a application form in the branch with two tier approval. The higher authority approval is a just formality and they don't verify normally. As written earlier by me, HNI accounts are always seen by these private bank employees at all levels. Again such things happens in small branches as these RM understand the customer and do frauds.

Things will be cleared soon, but it doesn't seems to be one man show.
She can not alone manage first taking out money , than playing in Equity market, with TOO much money 💰.
 
My account was also tempered by one of ICICI employee...I raised complaint to CEO & head of wealth management and action was taken. ICICI acknowledged tempering. However, i promptly get into action when i found tempering with my account & managed to save my funds before swindled off from the account by the employee.

The maturity instructions of all the FD's which were due for maturity were changed by my RM without any notification to me and my email id was tempered from the backed so that i will not get any notification of change in FD maturity instructions. There were attempts to change my mobile no in bank account also & am sure it was also done by RM. Bank never shared investigation report with me which i demanded many times.

I have a habit of checking my investments every month and i observed these changes in net banking before the funds were siphoned off.

I always stay away from RM's and have BLOCKED their mobile no's...My 2 cents, always stay away from RM's as they might pull out some account related sensitive information from you through some tricks...All are not crooks but if your time is bad, you might lose all your investments.
 
This is going to be a good lesson for all those who blindly follow RMs (not Regional Managers (AGMs) as RMs are known in PSU Banks, but absolute entry level chaps called Relationship Managers). And are comfortable dealing with them than going to the branch and meeting the Branch Manager who could be a Chief Manager cadre or above.

These private bank RMs are rarely pure BANKERS. I prefer to call these chaps nothing but middlemen or even brokers. Their prime focus will never be what is good for the customers. They are always for making a quick buck via commissions, target perks etc., They get things done - even if that means violating or breaking all known banking rules and do all dubious things - like filling up bogus/fake/ficticious data and other info about customers, so as to meet some illogical criterion set by those private banks. Like showing a 30L as salary income for getting a specific credit card - even for students who have no regular income or salary as such.

Those dealing with these RMs should be on their guard at all times. At least once a month, these customers must check all their accounts and other info with the bank by physically visiting the branch. The RMs usually try to decieve those who do not visit the branch and are happy dealing with only the RM. They are easy pray for such RMs.

Many like to rely only on self mistakes.
Few learn from other's experience.

Which bank? Icici?
 
This is too much. Can icici employees do anything with our money then, if we dont pay attention?

I am removing all my FDs from icici now. Dont care for their wealth account.
