Hey everyone,
I’ve been trying to gather clarity around ICICI Bank's Regular Savings Account. On their official website, the product page now shows a PDF titled “Regular Savings Account (Discontinued)”, and inside it, they clearly mention:
> “Incremental sourcing for this product has been discontinued.”

To me, that sounds like ICICI has permanently stopped offering the Regular Savings Account to new customers.
“I’m currently in an ongoing back-and-forth with the Branch Manager of my nearest ICICI Bank branch regarding the unavailability of the Regular Savings Account, as they are refusing to open it and insisting on higher-tier accounts instead.”
Till now from last one week I did lots of complaint through mail and icici social media team ( X ) to icici official but they are not ready to open regular saving account.
∆ In last one week ,They contacted me via phone call 2 times , but they keep denying again and again for regular savings account refers to INTERNAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA.
Also hade conference call with BM and ICICI OFFICAL but they are not ready for REGULAR.
