This will only work if they have an LE offer on their credit card.

LE offer can take 6-12 months, it is not fixed that you will get LE offer in exactly 6 months.. normally LE offers comes in 9-12 months.

for icici, they give LE offers in bulk to many users, so when someone put a post regarding icici LE, do check yours

My wife got LE in 9 months from 75k to 4.2L.
Normal usage of 10k per month

Use the card regularly (sometimes people don't use it and still get offers) and wait patiently. ICICI is generous in LE. You should get something before your card anniversary.
