HSBC savings account worth it or not?

I’m planning to open an HSBC savings account. From what I understand, if I place a fixed deposit of ₹1.5 lakh, the account will effectively function as a zero-balance account.

Could you clarify if holding an HSBC savings account provides any advantage in getting pre-approved for the Live+ or Travel One credit cards? I already meet all the eligibility requirements for these cards. However, when I try to apply online, my Aadhaar address (which is my permanent home address) results in an “unserviceable pincode” error during verification. I think having a savings bank will solve this problem and also there will be no need of KYC.

Only for premier card and private account requirements there rest other cards not mandate
