Agreed. I don't think giving the difference as credits will work, it would be a complete mess to even verify customer claims. I mean, the screenshots can be tampered with to show lower prices. And there is no genuine authoritative source to verify historical prices. It will either be a poor CX or the bank will burn a lot of money.I highly doubt this. A quick comparison between HSBC travel portal and Skyscanner shows a difference of 700+ for a domestic log between del-hyd.
They'll be loosing money on this like crazy.
In high end hotels/international flights the difference could be even bigger
HSBC will likely set some T&C on this or completely remove it.
