How to get max cashback for paying CC Bill Payment?

HDFC platinum debit card using bill payment portal of HDFC. 1% cashback upto ₹750 per month. Can't be used to pay HDFC credit card bill.

I tried this on my ICICI Amazon Card and was charged around 260 on a payment of 6000. Any idea why? I think it's some sort of Debit card payment charges.

Will we get the cashback on only Autopay transactions? Or on normal transactions? And are there any service charges involved on paying high amount bills? And after how much time will the payment reflect in ICICI and AXIS credit card statements?

It takes around 3-4 working days for transactions to be credited in ICICI & axis card accounts. I don't know about auto-pay cashback but while doing bill payment manually there's no extra charges.

Yes, as of now this is the best option. Alternatively you can see if you have any offers on Amazon or Paytm for credit card payment offers from time to time.

When are the cashback points credited? 1-2 days after the transaction is done? Or 1-2 days after the transaction is settled by the credit card provider?
Doesn't paytm charge 1.18% for CC Bill payments through DC now?
Can I also use Milennia Card for this?

Few weeks back it was removed. You load money in wallet first and then pay from wallet.
Yes. For millenia Limit is 400. But you cannot pay HDFC CC bills through this.

Is it something account specific? I get charged a convenience fee on wallet payments.
If you don't have any suitable debit card which yields cashback/reward on CC bill payment or application which provides cashback then you can try the following if,
---> Your Amazon Pay Wallet is UPI enabled:
1. Add money to Amazon Pay wallet through any cashback card (like Amazon Pay ICICI CC etc.) via any third part app like UBER. You will get cashback as per your card reward system.
2. Transfer the added money to the bank and then pay the bill even for the card used in Step 1 (not recommended though). Pay bill for other cards. Also don't rotate much, keep the amount reasonable.

P.S. All these are personal thoughts only 😌. Also these two are very interesting and unique use cases.

I did pay my credit card bill on 1st. But haven't yet received the cashback. Using Visa Easyshop Platinum Debit card for the first time. How much time it takes generally?
Even I have not received the cashback🙁
