how sedexo card help us to save from imcome tax?

Many MNC companies are giving relaxation for income tax through by issueing sedexo food card . monthly contribution of these card may relaxed for Incom tax as well.
my question is where ever we can use these card?

1. hotels
2. some super market like reliance mart
3. jiomart online shiopping



i need some places where i can use these card.
i can spend 10k for groceries every month
suggest me how much i should start for these card and where addtionally i can use these card.
based on yoursuggestion . iam going to spend these card

Online food/grocery stores like swiggy, zomato.
Offline you can go for Star bazar, Reliance mart or even some pizza shops(only food items) .
Alternatively, there are some medicine/general shops that allow shopping any items using sodexo, the only flip side being they sell at MRP and you miss out on discounts.
You can find all merchants in your area accepting sodexo using the pluxee app.

Typically companies would allow you to block some amount from your salary and give those as sodexo coupons and you can redeem it on multiple store like you mentioned.
Be mindful that that annual limit for this benefit is 26400 or 2200 monthly. So even if you deduct 5000 monthly you will get tax benefit for only 2200 for that month. Another point is that this deduction I believe is only available in old regime so be mindful of that.

Sodexo benefits only works for old tax regime.If you are in new tax regime,It is useless.I used in supermarkets ,jiomart,Bigbasket, Swiggy, Zomato (There is no offers ever for this card).I have piled up my balance around 70K. Don't know where to spend.

I don't recall the method ~ it was like 4-5 years ago. You can try ordering from amazon Fresh , cancel it & get the refund as amazon balance.
