How is an anniversary year calculated by SBI Cards?

I would like to know where can I find the authentic information regarding calculation of anniversary year by SBI Cards as I do not find any mention about it in their MITC for the SBI SimplyClick CC also.

Check for milestone in sbicard
There you can see the date to fulfill milestone or annual fee waviver that could be your anniversary year.
BTW why do you need anniversary year?

Email them, they will give you anniversary date.

Probably to keep an eye on milestone reset date, only cashback card has that inside SBICards app. Rest cards, we have to check manually.

Annual date will be 1st time card issuance date as per my knowledge
My card issued on 10th July and milestone benefits calculated from this year 10th July to next year 10th July

Your statement cycle is also from 10th July? Then yes, it's from 10th July 20XX to 10th July 20XX.

applies for both BOB and SBI (not for private banks)

1. If ur card is fresh, ex: approved on 01-Jul-25 then anniversary and milestone will be 01-Jul-26.
2. If ur original card approved on 01-Jan-25 then you got upgraded to another card 01-Jul-25 then

anniversary: 01-Jan-26
milestone: 01-Jul-26

Ek aur naya bug mila sbi card me, I had spent Rs 53000 using simplyclick credit card ending with x3889 and i received the statement with 47000 pending for milestone benefit.
Now 2 days after this, i applied for add on card, and is this was mastercard variant, i came to know that in MC, all cards are changed and sent to primary card holder, so i received 2 cards one primary one add on.
Fir August ke statement me i spent Rs 67000. Now in this statement they have considered this a new card and now showing milestone benefit still away by Rs 33000.
Ye kya log hain yaar kaha se aate hain. Ab mene mail kra hai citing the discrepancy. Has anyone faced this before ?

iss baat pe ladke query uthayi ja skti hai ya ni ? kyu ki cibil me the credit card account remains same, so they have not issued new card, replaced the BIN. Kisi ne pehle kra hai contest iss ko leke ya me hi shuru kr rha hu ye pratha ?

if number changes then they'll open new account in cibil too, just that card open date same and old account closed. wait till it reports this month end.

meanwhile, u can escalate to customer support and ask them u achieved milestone already. u need to get that milestone vouchers because u crossed 1L.

My Personal Experience
I have been using BPCL SBI Octane for the last one year plus.

1st Year
So, in my case, Octane card was issued (i.e. officially issued/despatched by SBI Cards) on 28 May 24 and I received it a few days later and then activated it on 13 Jun 24. So, actual usage year should be from 13 June 24 - 12 June 25. But officially, the 1st year was taken as being from 28 May 24 - 31 May 25.

2nd year
I Spoke to the customer care about the card year dates. They informed me that hereafter, from the 2nd year onwards, the card year will be taken as 01 June - 31 May every year.

Inference
So, in my case, a few days were shifted to make the card year align with the calendar months. You can also check from the customer care accordingly.
