In Petrol Bunk say them that you want to pay via OTP.. They will ask for your mobile number and trigger OTP to your registered number. Just share the OTP with them..

Or say them that you want to pay via points and ask them to trigger OTP to your mobile..
I've nearby BPCL petrol pump and having Pine Lab Machine but they are not aware about process to pay via smartdrive.
Could you please guide me which options i need to tell them to redeem this wallet amount? Will it work on all pine labs machines?

It's common for all pos machines that are being used by petrol bunks. Say them that you want to pay by OTP or pay with points..
Mostly lorry drivers use this method to make payment. The payment will be made from centralised account. The driver will say the common mobile number. OTP will be sent to the lorry owner / office. And owner would share the otp with driver / petrol bunks. It's a common practice in petrol bunks..

I was able to successfully use this at a BPCL petrol pump today, Told the staff I wanted to pay by OTP and fortunately they understood immediately and brought a Pinelab machine

As far as I can tell these are the steps in terms of the navigation he followed
IRIS App -> ALP -> Loyalty Operations -> Sale -> Loyalty OTP

He entered my mobile number and the OTP that came to my phone and the payment went through

I think that not all pumps might be aware of this because a friend of mine tried this in Bangalore and they had no idea about it.

Indeed! Many petrol pumps don't know this. I told them I need to pay with smartdrive, OTP, etc .

They are simply saying they don't have that option here.

And I was finally told by a pump manager to use the word ALP to the staff to use the smartdrive wallet.

I tried last time with OTP and it worked well... but in fist attempt pump attendant did not understand what I meant. He checked in office and then understood.

But adding money to smartdrive wallet is not rewarding ... don't think any cards give points here. Amazon pay can be used to load with 2.36% charge

Yeah there's no point loading via card directly, it works for me because I can use my Amazon pay balance to indirectly pay for fuel which is a regular monthly expense for me

Are there any additional things we need to do besides installing the hello BPCL app and adding a car and adding a voucher?

As through ALP OTP when the bunk guy entered he gets a message that transaction is not valid for mine. He tried generated 2-3 times OTP and entered the correct one came in on mobile, still the same.

Attching POS screenshot of the error. Opened a ticket with BPCL but no response being a PSU :-(. When got hold of someone on helpline they said someone will respond for your app ticket

What additional things I needed here as the voucher is added to my registered mobile no. Which is registered for the smartdrive
