HDFC SmartBuy steps to order

I have been ordering on SmartBuy for about 3 years now. I am making this post to check if one or more of these steps can be reduced.

1. Go to smartbuy -> Login -> Shop -> Choose brand website
2. Brand website (redirected through Smartbuy) opens up. Ensure cart is empty.
3. Add items to cart, place the order using an HDFC CC.
4. Ensure the OTP SMS reads something like PHARMEASY V or MYNTRA VIA to ensure SmartBuy has been factored in.

Can I reduce any of the steps here?

No need to ensure cart is empty or of adding items to cart after opening through smartbuy
Pre added items also work, it just has to be paid through smartbuy it's a payment offer it's not cash karo

I heard yesterday on YouTube, cart must be empty.

As said by @Kushagra_ , we can have items in the cart. I add the items in pharmeasy app and pay in smartbuy

How soon does the 5x RPs get tracked when using Smartbuy>Myntra route?
Does the message similar to below come on 3rd day of txn?

This SMS comes exactly 3 days after txn when buying GVs on Gyftr:
"Reward Points Credited: 675 To HDFC Bank Credit Card xxxx On 19/MAY/2025 Towards SmartBuy_May25_Bonus_10X_RP_................"

You can use Swiggy HDFC credit card to get 10% cashback from smartbuy and an additional 5% cashback on credit card for preferred merchant. That means, you can get a sweet 15% cashback from using a credit card.

You can use both coupon and credit card discount. Also, from where can you get this 25% coupon? Is it user-specific?

Is it user-specific?

Yes! It’s a user-specific coupon.
I actually reinstalled the app after almost 4 years my first and last order was in 2021, so till now I had only 1 order on PharmEasy. That’s why I think they gave me this special 25% code.

The 5% PharmEasy credits are almost useless if you’re not a regular buyer.. they allow you to use only 5-10-% of order value

yes. on pharmacy orders only allowed to use 5%. On lab tests order you can use 50%
