HDFC Regalia visa to Rupay

I have a HDFC Regalia credit card.

I was thinking to convert it to Rupay Select variant but I am not sure what all benefits I will be loosing if I do this conversion.

Does anybody has any comparison available for Visa vs Rupay version of HDFC regalia? What would happen to priority pass?

TL;DR:
- You won't get priority pass
- But Diners probably provide international lounge support
- Reward structure same

I already have PP via Magnus so might as well switch to Regalia RuPay. Do you know the process?

I got approval for priority pass on rupay regalia. You can pay other credit card bill from upi linked rupay regalia through amazon.

But, the greatest benefit of rupay regalia is upi linkage and transfer to bank account upto 1 lakh free. Check out my post here

As some one told before mastercard needs to be first converted to visa and then to rupay. Call customer care. Don't try over email. They will deny that such thing even exists

Do they ask for a reason to convert to visa? And if so, what should be the answer that gets accepted? Gonna have to go through this cycle because I want RuPay and have MasterCard 🤔
