I have a Savings Max account with HDFC. I opened that account in June primarily to get a regalia from HDFC, but because of an error from their field verification agent, they rejected the application. Now I don't want to get HDFC card as the LTF(1 lakh payment) option has gone. In the meanwhile, I got Vistara Infinite and Magnus cards from Axis. Hence I am thinking of moving my savings account from HDFC to Axis.

I would like to know the difference. Between Axis and HDFC, which savings account is the best?

hdfc is less evil among the two.
at least my escalations get resolved on hdfc after escalating. axis doesn't even do that.

if you already have axis credit cards, why are you shifting your account to axis?
if you were treated badly by hdfc today, there is an equal (or even more) probabily that axis will treat you badly tomorrow. all banks are the same.
i would say continue with hdfc, you may receive preapproved offer after cooling off period.

the point about why to shift when axis has already given two premium cards is valid, I was thinking the same. And yes, HDFC resolutions seem to be better than Axis. Thanks for your suggestion

hdfc won't slap you with unnecessary charges. Even if they do they will reverse them. That's not the case with Axis. Also, Axis charges you for many things even if you get premium account with them. I'd recommend you to stay with hdfc.

I recently opened Regular Savings account with HDFC. What are the chances of getting pre-approved CC offer or should i upgrade to Savings Max Account?

Also look into ICICI Wealth account , you can open one with initial 5 lakh deposit and then it’s a zero balance account….no charge for almost all possible service
In terms of Online Banking , App and phone banking (directly connects to a Wealth RM) it probably one of the best of not the best.
Only 3 banks in India are categorised by RBI as Domestic Systemically Important Banks : SBI,HDFC & ICICI… it’s wise to stick to one of these banks 🙂
