HDFC Name on Add-on card

Hello,
So i recently got upgraded to DCB Metal and want to apply for an add-on card for my spouse. She also has a HDFC bank account. I see an option for "Name on Card" when applying for add-on through phone banking. Can i customise this to any other name or does it have to be the same name as on her bank account?

My wife has HDFC account and also has HDFC credit cards but the add-on she got through me came with her first name only.
The Priority Pass which came with the add-on also has her first name only.
So, it’s not necessary to have the full name on add-on card.
Not sure if you can customise the add-on to some other name though..

I was actually thinking to have a nickname, thats why asked this. Did you get an option for the name while applying?
