Yes, I recently applied My Pre-approved MILLENNIA CC and My card was approved in MASTERCARD varient and I converted it to Rupay varient instantly after card approved.

Depend on Card BIN, RuPay Millennia CC is old BIN. Already enabled on all Flipkart/Amazon sales offer.

Last time, this issue of lesser discount happened with the Pixel RuPay card but after raising a complaint it was fixed. The problem wasn’t there with other HDFC RuPay credit cards.

Banks also have to pay a super premium fee for RuPay Select / Visa Signature or Infinite

that’s why not all cards come under RuPay Select or Visa Signature/Infinite.

But some banks like RBL launch all their cards under RuPay Select — just to earn extra profit.

To my recollection it was arround₹25 (this can be for basic card) for premium card banks maybhave paid 70 or 80 per card (it's just a guess not a real number)
