HDFC Debit Card wrong charge !

Recently, my wife opened an HDFC Women’s Advantage Account and received a Women’s Advantage Debit Card as part of the welcome kit.

About 10 days after account opening, I added her to my HDFC Preferred Banking Group. This update is also reflected correctly in her HDFC mobile app.

However, we noticed that a charge of ₹236 was debited from her account as a "Debit Card Issuance Fee".

As far as I know, HDFC Preferred Banking customers are entitled to free debit card issuance. Could you please clarify if we’re missing something, or whether this charge was applied by mistake?

You can raise a complaint and it will be waived off.

Same happened with me.
My account was imperia.
I opened new account for my mother and get it added to the family banking.

But DC fee was charged and I raised the complaint and charges were waived off..

Branch person communicated that charges were put because account was initially not mapped to imperia and DC was already issued.

Which method you used for complaint, and it got resolved in how many days?
 
Whats the procedure of adding to family group? Rm and branch are hopeless.
For my case my RM helped instantly over the call. My RM is Virtual RM not from any branch.

1. I called my RM.
2. Ask to add 3 members on my group.
3. Each member received SMS and Email link for consent approval.
4. After 2-3 days Netbanking and Mobile App started reflecting the changes.
