HDFC Credit Card Permanently Blocked

Hi,
Some 4-5 years back, my HDFC credit card was blocked due to crypto transactions. Last year, I tried to see if they could close that account and I could get a new card but apparently there is no way.

I am asking here if anyone faced something similar and have found a way around it.

P.S: I still have functioning HDFC Bank account, just credit card is blocked.

Raise the request through proper channel(RM)

I did but nothing came off it except them saying there is nothing they can do 😭

Do you have active well maintained account with them? If yes, write to higher authorities like nodal and zonal officers.

If reply is not accommodating, threaten to move the account in subtle words.

Unfortunately they still operate with shitty pen and paper route.

Print out a letter with your details and send it to HDFC Bank Credit Cards division in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai

Yeah, they still rely on physical letters a lot ngl.
