Millennia HDFC charged "Rs.50 as CASH CHARGES"

As per the changes effective today(01-08-2024), If I redeem my points to statement cash I will be charged Rs.50 but the last I did was on 23 July.

I lodged a complaint today, They have given a reference number for the request to reverse the GST.
Said, it will be reversed in next 20 days.

They told me 10 days but reversed in 3 days

I received the GST reversal yesterday. Had emailed to Grievance Redressal on Aug 9 and also followed up with the Customer Services email which had promised GST reversal in 10 days. I don't know what worked. I also received an email from Case Administrator with a request number, it looks like their CRM.

i mailed on 7th aug, no reply yet.
edit: today i received mail from grievance cell that the gst will be reversed within 5days.

To whom did you send it?

I told them to open a complaint for non reversal of GST and also mentioned of escalating it to RBI Ombudsman. I believe we have to officially complaint to the bank after which only we can escalate to RBI Ombudsman after 30 days if there is no resolution.

I just called the customer care and asked them to reverse the gst. They created the service request yesterday & asked for 20 days to process it. But I'm already seeing the gst reversal in my account today.
