HDFC card application Declined.

I have applied HDFC credit card for family member as first time borrower. His credit score is NH. Provided all necessary income proofs while applying.

All process was smooth. Biometric kyc within 2 days, physical verifications next day. But today card got declined.

Reason they gave is full adhar number is visible in ITR. This is not acceptable as per guidelines. They asked to send masked ITR to Chennai office.

I requested them to receive digitally on mail and they agreed politely. I sent it on mail and they acknowledged it.

Later at evening, i decided to sent physical documents to Chennai office as requested. So sent by courier also.

In evening I got SMS and Mail that card is declined. But status showing inprocess.

Have anyone faced similar situation.??

Update- card got approved after physical document sending.

Biz grow rupay. Limit Don't know. Just get approval mail with application detail. Card will be delivered within 3 working days.

No insta card yet. Not showing on UPI apps. Looks like virtual card not generated yet.
Check in “mycards” app soon..
It will appear there first..

Link is here, if you don’t know about it..

Final update.
Got 1.75L limit.🤩🫡

This is too good limit to start with credit journey. Considering no credit history and prior relation,

52500 limit to spend a month without worrying Credit utilization ratio. This is so satisfying.

Thank you HDFC Bank.

Noice... With regard to utilisation. As minimum as you spend, better the Credit Score.
