HDFC Billpay payment failure for Kotak and BOB cards via mobile app

Bob and kotak credit card bill payments are always failing on HDFC bill pay.

Icici, axis, sbi working fine.

is there any way to make BOB and kotak cc payment by HDFC Billpay?

Maybe try payzapp app, recently I paid BOB credit card bill using payzapp app Wallet balance, as it was around 80k hdfc guys called to confirm the txn then it went through.

Yeah most probably , will be back . An year ago , same thing happened with Kotak and BoB CC too . But were reinstated !

but you wont get 1% cashback if you pay through payzapp

If you have a cc which gives rewards on wallet loads. (Icici apay) just load payzapp wallet with that and use the wallet bal to pay bill.

This had disappeared for several users for some days/hours but is now back. Paid a bill 5 mins ago and the debit card option was very much still valid.

Well, it is still very much gone for me, just checked again
Only able to pay using savings account.

Maybe they’re disabling it for users in a phased manner, because it doesn’t make sense to let some users pay CC bills using debit card and not let the others do that. They’ll just remove it for everyone eventually IMO.

Check if the added credit card is active in the billpay site if you have added the card newly. If pending, wait for it to become active and then pay. If already active, try again.

Thankyou for the solution, it shows pending and makes sense now , any idea how long it may take to become active

I suggest try payment after 24 hrs of your card addition in billpay. Even if it shows status pending, you can able to pay the bill.
