Have you closed your IDFC Mayura Card?

How many of you have closed your Mayura Credit Card? I am going to close tomorrow. Have the aniversary in August but can't take chance as Renewal Fees is steep and benefits are very less. Though I lover the design of card but have to close it because of Renewal Fees.

Do let us know if you get renewal fee offer. Took this card as first metal card but lying unused from day 1. Agree it is probably best looking card even though later acquired DCB Metal and EPM Metal. Just hoping if they offer some renewal benefit otherwise will have to close it.

I wanted to ask people. Is the international spends issue of being classified as rental and being charged the additional fee still an issue or have they fixed it?

If mcc falls as rental or others 1% surcharge will be added its whether international or domestic transactions it dosent matter.

So zero forex mean only conversion charges will be 0 but any surcharges there will be applied.

In future surcharges will be applicable or be introduced for various swipes because banks have to make money one way or other.

so if I make a 1000$ transaction, if the mcc is rental or something idfc doesn't like, i will be charged 1000$ plus 11.8$?

This 11.8$ will be added after transaction settle in your account which takes 3 to 7 days then you will see the surcharge in your statement

No. just card will be blocked but not credit card account. in order to close you have to talk to customer care and they will raise request for closure of credit card (that's the correct procedure)

In case you block card doesn't matter you will be still charged Renewal fee in your credit account and it will be reflecting the same.

Hello, sorry for an off topic question, but I have a IDFC Millenia credit card, and have an upgrade offer for the ashva cc, now i do not want to use the credit card I just want the metal credit card to keep in my wallet (i know it sounds dumb but i just want to fidget with it), so if i go ahead with the upgrade, and close the card as soon as it reaches me, would i have to pay the joining fees?
And will the millenia credit card be closed after I upgrade to ashva?
