I have two HDFC credit cards — Infinia and Biz Black — both linked to the same mobile number.
For the past month, I’ve been unable to make any purchases on Gyftr. Every transaction attempt was getting declined. I initially ignored it, thinking it was a temporary glitch. And since Gyftr doesn’t have a customer care number listed on their site, I didn’t pursue it further.
Today, I tried again and the transaction failed once more. After some effort, I managed to get in touch with them via email. Turns out, their system flagged my account because I was using the same mobile number across two cards/accounts.
I had assumed that since I have two separate HDFC cards, I could create two Gyftr accounts and use them independently. Apparently, that’s not acceptable to them. Now they’ve asked me to wait for 30 days, which honestly feels quite unreasonable.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? Any suggestions on what I can do next?
