Free Timesprime annual plan for Visa Signature cards

No offence taken but I am genuinely surprised at the question because it offers sufficient value for many users and most people may not have a Signature Visa variant. For example, like I mentioned, I have a Times Prime card and I don't get the email from them with the offer code but if I login to the portal for HDFC Times then I think I can activate it from there - I will try it this year and if not then write to them. But even if I have to purchase then I may do away with the card and still purchase the membership if it offers value for another year than hunt for a card that exclusively offers it for free. I have learnt my lesson with my first and most used card as a HDFC cobranded card as I can't get a core card now despite being eligible for somewhere between a premium-super premium card now.

surprisingly ur the first in forum who said .. offers sufficient value for you.. because for most of them afaik only hotstar useful.. rest everything junk and not so much useful.

Haven't read about others on this forum but since the question was directed towards me yes I answered for myself and I can get some validation by going to Reddit and other places where people say the same thing but that is not the point. Uber, Sonyliv, Hotstar, discovery plus and few more things work out fine for me enough to recover the price of the membership especially because I have always bought it at a discount. I still don't get what is so surprising about it. Its maths. Or is there something more to it? I would like to know.
