Finally Axis Airtel CC Approved

I started my journey with AXIS Bank after obtaining a free charge plus credit card on 25 August 2022 with a meagre limit of 10k later 6 months it was increased to 50k from 10k. Then on 21 March 2023, I took an Axis Flipkart credit card through customer care. On 25 March 2023 again I applied for an Airtel card through the Airtel Thank app by ignoring the fact that Axis has a policy of cooldown period hence it was rejected immediately by the system within 2 hours.

Then Airtel 60 days countdown period has begun. By mid-June again option to apply for the card was available. This time I thought after 6 months I would apply for this card. As an Airtel postpaid user, I genuinely wanted this card. But on 31 July I lost my patience and applied for this card. The process was so smooth that has been completed in one shot.

And the card was approved start showing in Axis credit card account waiting for the delivery status.

And last most important thanks to all the experienced members of this community from whom I gathered so much knowledge about credit cards.

Had similar issue last month or early this month. Sent a polite message, via Twitter, asking to stop sending such fake offers. Got a generic reply that they'll look into it.

While Airtel is looking into it, I checked for offers on my two (non-Airtel) secondary numbers. Both had offers. Applied and got the card approved. The card is on the way. I hold Axis savings account and two useless paid legacy cards (My Business and My Wings).

Now comes the important part. After nearly two or three weeks since I sent a polite message in Twitter, I received an SMS message like the WhatsApp message. But, this time a unique URL to apply. I clicked and got an offer to apply for Airtel Axis CC from my primary number. I didn't proceed as the other application was under consideration.



Moral of the story: Be patient and contact Airtel through Twitter to get the offer for your Airtel number, particularly if you received only a generic link to apply. It is all about your skill to convince them. Don't beg. Don't shout. Just be professional and polite. Good luck!

I have 3 Axis cards, is that the reason ? Anyone tried calling CC and asking why the confusion ? I'll do tomorrow.

I don't have airtel number but nevertheless using my Jio number on Thanks app & facing similar situation, will dropping a twitter DM help in this regard ?

P.S. I'm an existing Axis Customer, having savings account as well as 1 credit card.

I'm still waiting for bank's decision for airtel axis approval. I applied on 13th Oct and went to a vacation and came back too. But still waiting for the decision

For me, it took 15 days for the bank to process and approve.

This time, I applied for airtel axis from jio number only because offer is not available on my airtel number. So applying from jio or vi number is not a problem. But I don't think you can ask airtel to provide offer for jio number

This time, I applied for airtel axis from jio number only because offer is not available on my airtel number. So applying from jio or vi number is not a problem. But I don't think you can ask airtel to provide offer for jio number

I also logged in with my jio number, in the app I saw the offer (refer screenshot).
Does it mean, if I apply it will get approved? (Also I have myzone cc)
