Federal Bank Scapia Card Rejected – CIBIL 765 & Already Holding One Card (Why?)

Hi everyone,

Need some expert insights here. My brother applied for the Federal Bank Scapia Credit Card today 25.7.2025, via a friend’s referral link (there’s an ongoing offer – 5 referrals can win an Apple Smartwatch).

Details:

  • CIBIL Score: 765 (decent score)
  • Already holding One Card issued by Federal bank (active & in good standing)
  • Applied via referral
  • Got an instant rejection – attaching screenshot below for clarity.

We are confused because:

  • The score is good, and no payment defaults.
  • Could it be due to already holding one Federal Bank card?
  • Or does Scapia have internal eligibility rules (like salary limit, profile restrictions)?
  • Does the referral link affect approval chances in any way?

Would love to hear from members who faced similar rejection or have insider knowledge about Federal Bank’s approval logic.
Any workaround or time gap required before re-applying?

Attaching rejection screenshot for reference.

Thanks in advance for genuine inputs!
