I found someone saying in group that if there is too many Cibil hits in the last 6 months it gets rejected
Yes that was me, they emailed me regarding the reason after I mailed a lot. They said no of hard credit enquiries in CIBIL is more than permissible limit defined in bank's internal policy. But they are not ready to reveal exact criteria. I have mailed again for the same, not sure if they will even reveal it.

But my guess is 1 per month for past 3 months like that or 6 in 6 months.

You guys can also email them asking the exact reasons for rejection(No offers found), by mailing them at creditcards@federalbank.co.in.

They take a lot of time to reply though, very poor customer service.

Yeah I mailed them and they replied after almost 10 days mentioning 'internal policy'. Now i have replied asking for exact reason. Let's see if they still give same stipid reply

Have an 8 year relationship with the bank. Got multiple calls with preapproved offers for all 3 variants. Didn't take as they were not providing LTF offers then. Will give it a go now.

So I applied today, they asked for PAN and mobile number, gave the number I already have registered with the bank. They've given me Imperio with a limit of 127000. The card got generated in a minute. Absolutely smooth! They had earlier offered me Celesta payed with a preapproved limit of 98000. No celesta this time, and in case, I was looking for Imperio or Signit. Signit is no longer required as I got the PNB and HDFC Rupay cards... So works fine... Only quibble is the credit limit. Old customer of their's with a healthy credit score. Could have been better!
