Erroneous Late Payment Reporting to CIBIL - Request for help

I was a holder of the Axis Bank Neo Credit Card I successfully upgraded this card to an Axis Bank Visa Credit Card previously

The annual fee for the old Neo card, which was charged, was correctly reversed as part of the upgrade process, as visible on the final statement for that account.and in the app also it reflected "No Payment due"

However, despite this, a "late payment" has been erroneously reported to the credit bureaus (CIBIL and others) against the now-Neo card account. This is a gross error as there was never any outstanding amount due from my end; in fact, the balance was in credit due to the fee reversal.

This incorrect data has severely impacted my previously impeccable credit score and my credit score has dropped by 70 Points

Now am at the biggest mess of life

Please can you help guide save me

Send mail to axis with all ur details n cibil. If they dont correct it then file rbi complain after 30 days. I dont think cust care will be able to correct ur cibil. U have to complain pno. I see ur limit so u must be gud customer of axis. Most probably pno should correct it. If not then rbibo is last option

Wait for Axis's response and then have to move accordingly, Axis should work with you to resolve this

Sorry to see yourself in this scenario. RM or CS cannot help on this. Only way could be tagging PNO and MD desk on this.

If they dont resolve your issue within 30 days, RBIO is the option. Please feel free to contact on further proceedings.
